Bubble Shooter: Funny Oranges is a bubble-popping game that features peeled whole oranges in funny colors instead of traditional bubbles. Across islands in various seasons, the player follows a winding path to play more than 160 levels. They must complete bubble-popping tasks, collect objects, and earn stars, heart lives and coins.
The player starts in a nighttime bamboo forest where the game hangs the orange bubbles in mixed-color patterns from the top of the playfield or attaches patterns around a central rotating hub. They complete tasks by using a wooden barrel cannon shooter and a dotted aiming line to shoot color-matched oranges at patterns.
The game might require the player to clear all bubbles or release keys from the field. When they complete a cluster of three or more oranges, the bubbles, which act like balls, drop into wooden fruit crates that serve as points areas. If the player uses the smallest number of projectiles possible, they earn more points.
Bubble Shooter: Funny Oranges provides boosters below the field. The player can collect and use five extra projectiles, match any color with the projectile, or shoot a fireball through a pattern. In the lower-right corner, they also can perform free projectile swaps. They use the coins they earn from their wins to buy access to these options.
